As an ex-officio liaison to the Committee on Inclusiveness in the Profession and current Vice Chair for the American Philosophical Association's Graduate Student Council, I facilitate communication and collaboration between the larger graduate student body and the association.
I also gather feedback from graduate students on their experiences of exclusion and/or exploitation in academia, ensuring their voices contribute to shaping more equitable professional practices.
The committee has an ongoing project to broaden the diversity in philosophy syllabi collection, thereby working to expand the canon and facilitate more inclusive pedagogical practices.
